Today I did a thirty minute spin class and I cranked up the tension higher than ever during the sprints… this may seem counterintuitive but they say that the point of sprints is just to make your heart rate skyrocket - so the higher your tension the better, your legs don’t have to be going super fast. Anyway, it was a good spin class tonight. I’m noticing that the classes are always full now, must be that cold weather.
After the spin we do 30 minutes of power plate. Power plate is where you do 4 sets of a workout routine all while holding a round weight. I feel like my arm strength is pretty good but this class always makes my arms sore! It always hurts my knee though too - so if they do take it away on Tuesday nights in January I won’t be sad.
There were some chocolate pretzels that got the best of me today at work, but I think I worked them off tonight. I didn’t do 30 day shred today because I decided it’s not wise to do it on days where I plan to do other weight stuff, so I’m only going to do it on cardio days. Tomorrow I plan on doing spin and run 3-4 miles, we’ll see how this goes :)
